Library Flyer Posting Policy
The library provides designated spaces for posting flyers to inform and engage our community. To maintain an organized and welcoming environment, the following guidelines apply:
Eligible Flyers
- Library-sponsored events and programs.
- Events of interest to library users that are sponsored by recognized community partners or their affiliated scholastic student organizations.
Posting Guidelines
- Approval: All flyers must be submitted to library staff for posting. The Library Director has final authority on approval of items in question.
- Size: Flyers should not exceed 8.5 x 11 inches.
- Duration: Flyers may remain posted for up to 30 days or until the event has occurred, whichever comes first.
- Placement: Library staff will post all approved items using painter’s tape. Flyers posted directly by students or departments without approval may be removed.
- Quantity: Excess copies or items deemed inappropriate for display may be discarded at staff discretion.
- Removal: Library staff reserves the right to remove postings at any time. At the end of the posting period, flyers will be discarded or recycled.
