Thanks to our University Administration, we narrowly averted yet another major cut to our centrally managed journal subscriptions from Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, Oxford and Sage for 2018. 

The collection allocation for the health sciences remained flat for this year, still reflecting the 20% cut it received last year. However, we made some strategic cancellations of some low use, low impact journals and used the money to reinstate access to some journals lost in past years’ cancellations and add some high demand journals.
