Starting 4/1, the Health Sciences Library will take part in a pilot program to test out after hours access for medical students in the School of Medicine. his means the unstaffed library is accessible to authorized medical students from 9pm to 8am. This pilot is scheduled to end 7/15.

For many years, students have requested increased access to the Health Sciences Library. We are able to explore this service because of enhanced security features added during the library renovation.

During this pilot, will be asessing the feasability of the continutation and potential expansion of this service. We will be looking at:

1. Usage of after hours access
2. Safety of our students
3. Staffing
4. Any additional issues
