Acceptance Rate
What is it?
The percentage of works that are published out of the total number of works submitted.
Where can I find it?
- In some cases, acceptance rates are listed on a journal's web page.
- Contacting the editor is, in many cases, the only way to find acceptance rates. Editor information is usually included on a journal's web page or you can look in Ulrich's Periodical Directory for information.
- The library has acceptance rate information for some journals. Contact us to see if we have acceptance rates for any titles you need.
- Publishers are often reluctant or unable to give out acceptance rates for publications. We have information on publishers who have refused to provide acceptance rates (e.g., many Wiley and American Society of Microbiology titles).
- If you have any acceptance rates, please send them to us, and we will add them to our list.
Impact Factor
