This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Associate Dean School of Medicine, in charge of the School of Nursing , and may act in lieu of total faculty in matters requiring immediate action. It considers long and short range plans, participates in selection of faculty, consider faculty responsibilities and make recommendations. It also serves as a resource of recruitment.

Included among subjects are capping and pinning ceremonies, 1953-1968; pictures of nurses uniforms, ca. 1952. from Deaconess, Jewish and University of Missouri Hospitals; Bulletin pictures, 1957-1965; buildings such as nursing education, hospital complex, Parker Hall, McAlester Hall. There also is printed matter such as Dec. 1955 copies of Missouri Nurses and Missouri Alumnus and some biographical sketches accompanying photos.
