Getting citations into EndNote from Scopus

Scopus features direct export to EndNote.

  1. If you have not already done so, create an EndNote library. (You can also put the citation in an existing EndNote library.)
  2. Search Scopus as you normally would.
  3. Select the items you wish to export to EndNote. You can also add items to your My List for later downloading by selecting the items and clicking "Add to list."
  4. After selecting the items, click the Output button.
  5. In the Output menu, choose Export as the desired output type.
  6. For the Export format, choose RIS  format (Reference Manager, ProCite, EndNote); choose desired Output (e.g., Complete format).
  7. Click Export.
  8. Choose the appropriate EndNote library.

The program should do the rest!

Note: When you add references to an existing EndNote library, you might see only the most recent entries. Choose References > Show All References (Ctrl+M) to get back to your entire EndNote library.
