Getting citations into EndNote from EbscoHost

  1. If you have not already done so, create the Endnote library (database) where you want to import the references. (You can also put them in an existing EndNote Library.)
  2. Search EbscoHost as you normally would.
  3. Click ADD for each reference you want to save.
  4. Select FOLDER HAS ITEMS in the top right area of the screen.
  5. Select Export.
  6. Under Save citations to a file formatted for, select Direct Export to EndNote, ProCite, or Reference Manager. Then click Save.
  7. You may be asked to Choose Destination in order to select or confirm the version of EndNote you're using.
  8. When asked to Select a Reference Library, choose the EndNote library where you want the references to go.
The program should do the rest!

For one-click access from a citation in Endnote back to the corresponding citation in EbscoHost, click on the link in the Web/URLs field.
