Getting citations into EndNote from EbscoHost
- If you have not already done so, create the Endnote library (database) where you want to import the references. (You can also put them in an existing EndNote Library.)
- Search EbscoHost as you normally would.
- Click ADD for each reference you want to save.
- Select FOLDER HAS ITEMS in the top right area of the screen.
- Select Export.
- Under Save citations to a file formatted for, select Direct Export to EndNote, ProCite, or Reference Manager. Then click Save.
- You may be asked to Choose Destination in order to select or confirm the version of EndNote you're using.
- When asked to Select a Reference Library, choose the EndNote library where you want the references to go.
The program should do the rest!
For one-click access from a citation in Endnote back to the corresponding citation in EbscoHost, click on the link in the Web/URLs field.
