Installing the and using VPN (Virtual Private Network) software

Obtain/download the VPN client

1. Go to IT Software Distribution Site.
2. Log in with your email pawprint and password.
3. Click on the Software button .
4. Search for "VPN" in the Product Search box.
5. Locate the correct version of VPN for your operating system and "Get It".
6. Install the VPN software.

Use the VPN client

1. Click on the Cisco Systems VPN client in your Programs menu.
2. Click the Connect icon in the menu to connect to the campus
3. Enter your pawprint and password, then click OK.

Note: For the remainder of your session your computer will operate as if it were on-campus. In the Task Bar, you should see a padlock icon in the locked position indicating a successful connection to the campus network.
