Pin Number
- Viewing your circulation record, renewing items online, and getting books from other MERLIN libraries requires a PIN number.
- The first time you use the "Request this Item" function or VIEW your circulation record in the online catalog, you create your own PIN (personal identification number).
- We suggest that you use a number or name you can easily remember. Your PIN can consist of numbers or letters, and should be four or more characters long.
- If you forget your PIN number, it can be changed at the Circulation Desk.
To create your own Pin Number:
- Connect to the MERLIN Library Catalog .
- Select the option: My Library Account
- Enter your name.
- Enter your ID number:
- Faculty and Staff: enter zero + EMPL ID + c
Example: 012345678c - MU students: enter social security number + c
Example:123456789c
- Enter your PIN Number (at least four characters).
- Submit
- Enter your PIN number a second time.
- Submit.
